Community Seat

A scholarship program for the Foundation for Effective Leadership

Above all, the mission of NextGen Center is to provide access. This means access to training and development for emerging leaders who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience it.

We also believe in community. The multiplying effect of growing with others. Community organizations are the fabric of a greater cause.

That’s why we created the NextGen Center Community Seat.

For each program of the Foundation for Effective Leadership, one seat will be dedicated to a local organization. That organization will then open applications to members of its own community, and a participant will be selected from those applicants.

Considerations for applicants

Community Seat applicants will be selected based on these factors:

• Membership or affiliation with the designated community organization

• Currently leading a team of people in your respective organization

• Minimum 6 years of full-time work experience

• Your motivation(s) for wanting to participate

• Your commitment to actively engage and participate in the experience
